TD III/2, May 1988, is largely devoted to the notorious Toward a Christian Understanding of Sexual Orientation, Lifestyles and Ministry [SOLM] (UCofC, March 1988), the April 8th "Declaration of Dissent," a theological background paper to same by founding editor Kenneth Barker; Peter Webster MD FRCP(P), "The lies that bind"; and Victor Shepherd's critique of SOLM, also published in Christian Week. Curiously enough the DMC's radical Gift, Dilemma and Promise (1984) has been ignored by TD/TD&O, as has Living Together in Marriage (1985). Elizabeth Achtemeier writes "God revealed in Sex?" in TD&O XI/1, Jan. 1996, p. 4.
